What made you decide to go solar?

Theo: I seen it on my iPad.  And I said you know what I;m gonna apply for it.  So, I filled in the papers and then word came back that the house was suitable.  From there on it was game on.

How did you become familiar with solar?

Audrey: Well, I have a nephew who lives here in Wheatley River and he has solar panels along side his house and I have seen them for quite a while.

What was it like before you had solar?

Theo: Well you pay the power bill.  And, I’m a gardener.  I store all my plants in the basement and I have maybe six or seven 4-foot fluorescent lights and then the power bill goes up Audrey used to say “Ah, you must have your plants going again in the basement the power bill is high”.  So, I don’t have to worry now.

How was the installation?

Theo: That was good, perfect.  The guys worked hard!

Audrey: Yeah, they did, they really did! Yeah.

What was the installation experience like?

Theo: We didn’t have nothing to do with it, no.  I was home all day so I just walked down and said hi to the boys and kinda watched what they were doing here or there.  So, it was good.  And well and it was good professionally.  It was good.

Audrey: You could tell they knew what they were doing, really.

Would you recommend solar to other homeowners?

Audrey: I would, yup.  Yes, I think so, I think so.

Theo: I even mentioned to my son, they live in a mobile home and their place is heated on electricity, they would save themselves a lot of money.

Audrey: Cause his light bills are $400 a month and it’s just him and his wife there, left now.  The kids are off at university.

Why should other homeowners get solar?

Theo: Why should you get solar?  To save yourself some money.  And be able to help the environment.  Cause even my kids said “dad, your crazy! You’re only going to be around another 10 years you’re not making any money.”  I said well, Audrey tell me the light bills about be $140 a month and the solar payments about $97-$98.  I save myself $30-$40 bucks a month!  And if you don’t want it, I’ll take it!

Would you use Sunly again or recommend us to others?

Theo: I would recommend them.  Yes! Yes!

Audrey: Yes! Yup 100%

What made you happiest about working with Sunly?

Theo: Oh, the boys they arrived in the morning, they unloaded the truck, and they know what they are doing.  There was 6 of them, everybody had a job to do and it was straight forward all day long.

What is the main reason you would recommend Sunly?

Theo: The main reason?  They’re professionals.

What would you tell someone that’s considering going for solar?

Theo: If you want to save yourself some money, go for it!

Audrey: Yup, I agree with you!  Because they gave you the feeling that they knew what they were doing.  That’s the big thing
