The Challenge

This time of year, money is tight for so many families. Especially with the rising costs of groceries, more people are struggling with food insecurity than ever. That’s why this year, we teamed up with CFCY 95.1 and Max 93.1 to raise 1000lbs of food donations for the Upper Room Food Bank - with a twist.

Even those who may usually be able to donate some groceries, might be a little more strapped for cash this year than previously. That’s why we put the responsibility of bringing food donations onto the businesses who CAN spare the money!

Each business who came to donate was asked to challenge three other businesses to come and drop off donations. Initially, we thought this goal might be a bit hefty… our amazing community didn’t let us down though!

Thank You!

We want to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU.

Thank you to the all the businesses who donated to this event, and thank you to all the individuals who went out of their way to bring in donations. Despite the challenge being Battle of the Businesses, many people dropped off donations on their own as well.

Finally, thank you to our clients who have given us this platform where we are able to give back to our community.

We would not have been able to almost triple our initial goal without each and everyone of you who donated.
