Solar Advisor Halifax
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Advisor to join our team. As a Solar Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to customers interested in solar energy solutions. Your role will involve assessing customer needs, explaining the benefits of solar energy, and assisting with the sales process. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and make a positive impact on the environment.
Duties And responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Solar Advisor include, but are not limited to, the following:
Conduct consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs and assess their suitability for solar energy systems;
Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings and environmental impact;
Provide detailed information about solar products, installation processes, and financing options;
Collaborate with sales team to develop customized solar energy solutions based on customer requirements;
Prepare and deliver presentations to individuals or groups about solar energy systems;
Assist customers with paperwork, permits, and other documentation required for solar installations; and
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in solar technology.
Minimum Requirements
Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and their components;
Familiarity with rigging, bucket operation, digging, welding, hand tools, power tools, mechanical knowledge, backhoe operation, bucket truck operation, and electrical work;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner;
Strong sales and negotiation skills to effectively close deals;
Exceptional customer service skills to build rapport and trust with customers;
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously; and
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
