Installation cost are lowering

In 2009 the average cost of a solar installation was $8.50 per watt

By 2020 the average cost of a solar installation was $2.81 per watt

This means for a 9kW system the price dropped from $76,000 to $25,000 making it far more affordable for the average consumer.

How many installs are in your neighbourhood?

Walk around, count them…probably not many.

That’s a big opportunity just within arms reach.

What makes a home right for solar?

Here are a couple things to think about when walking around your neighbourhood

  • High rates lead to higher bills which lead to better savings for the home owner.

  • It’s great the homeowner has made the shift for natural gas, oil or wood but it also means their electric bill is likely higher.

  • It’s a much smoother process when the home owner doesn’t have to worry about things like condo regulations.

  • While south facing is best, east and west facing roofs still generate a great amount as well.
