A Construction Coordinator is the main point of contact for clients once a project has reached the installation stage. They will coordinate the installation and ensure the client is fully operational.

duties and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Construction Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Communicate with clients on a consistent basis, and answer questions related to their project and installation timeline;

  • Coordinate installation bookings;

  • Follow up on any outstanding applications/paperwork required for the project;

  • Register monitoring systems;

  • Ensure clients net meter is installed;

  • Responsible for follow up with the client up to the point of the system being fully operational; and

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in renewables, energy or related discipline is preferred;

  • Access to reliable transportation;

  • Strong ability to take initiative;

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills (bilingualism in French is an asset);

  • Comfortable making phone calls and working with clients in-person and over the phone;

  • Excellent customer service skills;

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently as well as collaborate with the team;

  • Ability to adapt to changes and pivot as necessary based on business needs;

  • Comfortable with technology and software (Google Suite, CRM an asset);

  • Previous construction experience is an asset; and

  • Criminal record check is required.
